DENVER (CBS4) – Toys have gotten safer in recent years but there are still plenty of dangerous ones parents might want to avoid. On Tuesday the Colorado Public Interest Research Group (CoPIRG) released the annual “Trouble in Toyland” report about those toys.
The toys fall into four categories — toxins, magnets, choking hazards and excessively loud toys.
The group says magnet toys should never be given to children under the age of 14, and it’s easy to remove the hearing hazard.
