New Report Identifies Banks Consumers Complain About Most

Thousands of Americans are using the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s public Consumer Complaints Database to settle disputes with their banks, according to a new report from the CoPIRG Foundation. The report highlights banks that generated the most complaints through their various banking services in each state.

Colorado Sees Double Digit Drop in Driving

Coloradans have cut their per-person driving miles by 11.4 percent since 2005, while the nation’s long term driving boom appears to have ended, according to a new report from the CoPIRG Foundation.  Colorado had the 6th largest drop of state and now ranks 14th for fewest vehicle miles traveled per person.

New Report: Reduction in Driving Likely to Continue, Driving Boom Over

As the average number of miles driven by Americans heads into its eighth year of decline, a new report from the CoPIRG Foundation finds that the slowdown in driving is likely to continue. Baby Boomers are moving out of the phase in their life when they do the most commuting, while driving-averse Millennials move into that phase. These demographic changes will likely keep driving down for decades, according to the report.

New Report: Colorado Receives a “D+” in Annual Report on Transparency of Government Spending

The CoPIRG Foundation released its 4th annual study, titled "Following the Money 2013: How the 50 States Rate in Providing Online Access to Government Spending Data." The report examines how transparent Colorado makes its spending compared to the other 49 states.
