GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The Colorado Public Interest Research Group is urging parents to use caution when buying toys for their young children this holiday season.
The annual “Trouble in Toyland” report was released with information about toys on store shelves that can harm a small child.
Officials said toy recalls for excessive lead and other hazards are down this year, but there are still many toys currently being sold with dangerous metals in them, deafening noise and toxic chemicals.
